| The Company was formed in 1984 by a Stephen Ryle and Richard Darling. During the early part of 1985 the Company was incorporated. During the latter part of 1985 Mr. Darling bought out Mr. Ryle’s shares and has continued operating the Company to its present day. The Company was the first Company in the West Volusia area to adopt its name from the famed Blue Spring which is located in Orange City Florida. For hundreds of years the Timacuan Indians made the Spring run, river, and surrounding uplands and swamps their home that provided food, clothing, shelter and materials for tools and weapons. Snails gathered from sandbars were a staple food for these people. Three years after England acquired Florida from Spain, John Bartram, specifically on January 4, 1766, rowed his boat past sunning alligators into the clear water of Blue Spring. By the mid 1800s, most of the Indians had been killed or driven South and pioneer settlers took their place. The Company is small in nature and specializes primarily in residential real estate and property management. We give individual attention to the needs of our customers that are moving into the area. We are especially proud of one of our mottos “ Ask us for the name of your neighbor who we have serviced before” All of the agents, including the property management section that is run by JoAnn Darling, are experienced agents. They basically “leave no stone unturned ” in locating the desired residence for their customer. Our service area is the entire West Volusia area including parts of Seminole and Lake County that comprises a population of approximately 150,000 residents. The main community is the city of Deland, Volusia County Seat also home of Stetson University. The largest city in Volusia County is Deltona which is approximately 5 miles to the east. We are considered a bedroom community situated approximately half way between Orlando Florida and Daytona Beach along the I-4 corridor. Easy access from I-95 and I-75.
